Finca Las Madrecitas is a finca located in the midlands of La Orotava, very close to La Perdoma and with wonderful views of the sea and the valley. The finca offers perfect privacy for couples thanks to its location, surrounded by nature and magnificent vineyards. The property has spacious terraces, one of them with a large charcoal barbecue (charcoal is not included), as well as garden areas with fruit trees and vines which, in summer, offer peaceful shaded areas. An idyllic place to enjoy the sunrise/sunset.
Inside, the house has a design very similar to a mountain refuge, with lots of wood, which gives it more warmth. It is distributed in 2 levels. On the ground floor, there is a modern, fully equipped kitchen with views of the valley and a dining room. There is also a space with sofas to relax after an intense day (the fireplace is a decorative element).
Upstairs is the bedroom and is accessed by stairs and leads to the beautifully furnished and decorated bedroom with spectacular sea and valley views and crowned by an en-suite bathtub. There is also a desk, 2 comfortable armchairs and a Smart TV.
In addition, the accommodation has additional amenities such as high speed Wi-Fi throughout the property and parking within the estate. The access road to the Finca is two-way, although for the locals it is a daily route and they have their references, it is important that you take special care when passing through this area.
It is situated in a key location so you won’t miss out on the most popular activities in the area, such as the «Guachinches», the typical food houses of the island, which are only open during the new wine season and which offer, apart from their good wine, various typical dishes of Canarian cuisine. La Perdoma is a paradise for this kind of experience.
Our Finca is the perfect choice for a getaway and an authentic experience.
La Perdoma, is a neighbourhood that belongs to the Villa de La Orotava. Located at a certain altitude, this area of the island has kilometres of vineyards where a unique wine is grown, which you can taste in the famous Guachinches and local taverns of the island, where wine and gastronomy are the protagonists.
This area is characterised by its tranquillity and the friendly character of its neighbours, creating an excellent atmosphere for visitors. It also has all the essential services to ensure that you lack nothing (supermarkets, greengrocers, ATM, pharmacy, cafes, restaurants and a hardware store where you can buy charcoal for the barbecue at home).
Don’t forget that to get to the Finca you need to go by car, but from there, you can go to discover other areas of the island, such as La Orotava, where you can’t miss the Casa de los Balcones or its historic centre, declared a National Historic-Artistic Site. Nor can you miss the Victoria Gardens, where after your visit you will find a bakery with more than 100 years of history, Confitería Café Taoro -Casa Egon-, founded in 1916 and where you can try the traditional Barraquitos and Zaperocos (coffee with liqueur).
And don’t forget to visit the National Park of Las Cañadas del Teide, a place that will captivate you with its spectacular lunar landscape, together with our volcano Teide.
